1. As for the PT gear in January is there anything special to bring besides the Soffe shorts and brown t-shirts?
2. The brown PT shirts, do they have to be brown like worn with the BDU or can they be the new "tan" ones worn with the ABU?
3. Does a copy of orders need to be sent to S3 cadre prior to arrival on Lackland, if so does it need to be faxed or can it be emailed and to what fax number or email box?
4. What is the specific location to report to on Lackland, do i need to arrive the friday before selection if not then how much time prior?
I will be attending selection course beginning 4 Jan 10 - 14 Jan 10.

Hi, I went through Selection in May but I think I can answer a few of your questions: 1. I believe they will issue you specific SERE sweats for cold weather. 2. You will need sand colored (ABU) shirts for SERE. 3. Not sure about this one but I'm sure if you contact the MTL's in the 342 training squadron they can help you out with your orders. 4. You are going to be at Medina Annex, 342d TRS... I believe it is standard for retrainees to arrive on Sunday before Selection begins on Monday but if you can get there earlier it will be to your benefit. (Get your gear in order, meet your team, get a few nights of solid sleep, etc.)

I greatly appreciate the info. i found some solid info from the etca website (https://etca.randolph.af.mil/) this is a secure site so you will need to be on a miltary network to access it.
3. your orders will need to be faxed (as a retrainee to 210-671-4032)
and nh48932 said it right, retrainees need to report the day prior to the start of selection.
