So I've been told by numerous sources that it is a good idea for me to get in contact with someone up at Fairchild after getting assigned my slot for SST. I've sent a few emails and haven't heard anything back, and I was wondering if there was a better way to contact someone directly. I'm not even really sure who I'm supposed to contact. Any advice would be appreciated.

Before you attempt to contact someone, you need to think about what benefit are you going to get from doing that? Don't take this the wrong way but the cadre get paid to teach and instruct future SERE Specialists....not respond to emails from future students...they have enough on their plate. Not sure who your "numerous sources" are but I would say they are giving you a bit of poor advice. Once you get selected for SST, you will get all the information you need and be taken care of when the time is right. Hope this helps-probably not the answer you were looking for but advice none the less.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything by not talking so someone up there.

Whenever you sign your enlistment contract you also sign a few sheets of paper that give you some information on what SERE is. I believe the first bullet says to email the Cadre at Lackland (and it gives the email address). I sent an email as instructed but never received anything back.
But as CW stated, I don't really know what I was supposed to get/receive out of the email.
