I'm interested in what the reasons are that so many people do not make it in SERE? Is the most common reason that they just decide it is too hard and drop out?
Thanks, Jordan

Yes it is difficult, but at the same time i got screwed over because one of the cadre at the indoc course didnt like my uncle who worked with him in washington so he made sure i didnt make it even though i was pretty much the best at everything. still bitter lol

Don't listen to this kid dude, he seems to be a disillusioned washout. People wash out for lack of skills, the inability to teach, or because they don't have intestinal fortitude.

Thanks, I don't believe a sere specialist would fail you unless you were actually failing.

It is fun to hear the stories though. I washed out of ParaRescue because I didnt have the will power to swim for as long as I needed to. Now with 9 years in the AF under my belt and my eye on the crosstrain. I know better and have the mental capacity to keep going.I Have two FNG' s in my unit who washed out of CCT and TACP, the stories they tell about their wash outs is HILARIOUS! ;D
