Anyone with an Aug 19 class date?

I have an August 5th start date, but we will probably be in SST together. Where you stationed right now? I am at Ellsworth. If you want i can give you my government email address and we can get aquanted before SST.

How long did it take for you to get a selection date upon sending in your package? I have my final appointment on the 5th of August for my class III physical then I can send in everything on the same day. Just looking to plan ahead (taking leave Aug 8-25th).

the class three is going to take at least a couple weeks to get accomplished. the physical only takes a day but the paperwork that goes with it takes a while. you cant submit until that paperwork gets back from the majcom. Once submitted it takes about three months to hear back and get a date.

I suppose I should restate what I said; I have a class III physical, the flight doc is out until the 5th and at that time will sign the document that AFPC says I need signed from the flight doc stating I am class III qualified. That's why I say I will be submitting my items on the 5th after I see him. Three months for a class date, huh? Well, that's just more time for PT.

3 mo sounds about right . . . there is a lot of things that happen . . . and it all depends on AFPC once your package is sent. If you are having problems with them being prompt, bother them and at last resort contact the SERE CFM, to help get the process moving. He is the one that will be calling you for your phone interview.
